One of Denmark´s most spectacular building projects – "8TALLET", which may be rendered as "DIGIT8" – is now ready for habitation. The new dwellers will experience something quite extraordinary in one of Denmark´s largest residential buildings, situated in Ørestad. 8TALLET was designed by the internationally renowned architect firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), known, among other achievements, for the Danish contribution to the World Expo in Shanghai, for VM Husene in Ørestad City and for VM Bjerget, chosen as the best residential building project in the world.

FACTS ON ØRESTAD

Ørestad will be developed over the next 20 years, and covers an area of more than three miles (five kilometres) from the border of the City of Copenhagen to the Kalvebod Fælled nature reserve.The width of Ørestad is approx. 650 yards (600 metres). When fully developed Ørestad will have 20.000 inhabitants and 80.000 jobs.
